While in her final year at college, her brother told her about Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan, who had the ability to give Self-realization, and told her that this knowledge was so powerful that no worldly troubles or worries could then touch her. This process would take just two hours, through a unique science of the Soul (Atma; the Self) called Akram Vignan. This was the first time Pujya Niruma ever heard the word 'Atma' (Soul).

On June 29 1968, Pujya Niruma met Param Pujya Dadashri for the first time, in Vadodra. Instantly upon seeing him, she felt as if she had known him for many past lives and was now being reunited with him. At that time, a strong desire arose within her, 'how wonderful would it be if I could serve Param Pujya Dadashri until my final breath!' At this first meeting, in her heart, she completely surrendered herself to the Gnani.

On July 8 1968, she attained Self realization from Param Pujya Dadashri and had the distinct experience of the Self being separate from Niru, her worldly self. The separation prevailed during all difficult moments in her life, even later when her father passed away. This experience convinced her that the enlightenment she received from Param Pujya Dadashri was indeed working from within. Everyone in her family expected young Niru (her pet name) to set up a medical practice. Her father had plans to build a hospital for her, however, Niru had a different plan in her mind. She thought, 'As a medical doctor I can only heal people's physical illness but if I serve the Gnani, then so many people can be helped with their mental, emotional and worldly ailments as Param Pujya Dadashri graces them with his unique knowledge. There are so many doctors to help people with their health, but there is only one Gnani Purush to liberate them!' With this lofty purpose, she resolved to spend her life serving Param Pujya Dadashri. Thus in 1968, at a tender age of twenty-three, she traded a life filled with worldly comforts for one of devoted service to the Gnani Purush. She knows how to communicate with people easily and solve their problems. Pujya Niruma had a powerful ability to convey complex spiritual facts in a very simple manner, which people could easily grasp. Pujya Niruma accompanied Param Pujya Dadashri wherever he went, cooking for him, taking care of all his needs and facilitating satsangs. Her dedication to his service was at a depth which enabled her to present to Param Pujya Dadashri whatever he needed, even before he asked for it. She was an imitable model of seva (devotional service). Her only goal was to help Param Pujya Dadashri fulfill his profound desire of the world attaining liberation through the simple path of Akram Vignan. Understanding the value of the Gnani's priceless speech, she would record all his satsangs. From these recorded collections, she compiled and published the Gnani's speech of pure Knowledge.

In keeping with the wishes of Param Pujya Dadashri, Pujya Niruma performed the first Gnanvidhi in 1988 Empowered with the Gnani's blessing and protection, she would willingly travel to remote of the remotest locations using any means available, including public transportation and endured many hardships visiting small villages with no amenities, traveling even when her health was compromised just for the opportunity to talk about Param Pujya Dadashri and Akram Vignan. Nothing could deter her unflinching determination to fulfill her promise to Param Pujya Dadashri. On March 19 2006, Pujya Niruma passed away in a state of absolute Samadhi. Her final message to all was, "Live with Love...Promise? " The subtle blessings of Pujya Niruma at the time of departing from her physical body brought everyone's spiritual awareness to new heights. Many were witness to Pujya Niruma's spiritual energies during her physical presence, but countless more experience her subtle energies now!

A simple but elegant memorial of white marble stands at the site of her final rites in Simandhar City, Pujya Niruma's subtle spiritual presence continues to give everyone inner strength in their daily endeavor to emulate the purity and love she has personified.
